Experts tell us something we already know
The National Bureau of Economic Research today announced that that we’re in a recession and that it started last year. For some reason this was news to people and the market dropped 7.7%.
This call by the experts earns them the title of Captain Obvious for announcing something we already knew. I guess the recession has finally reached their ivory towers.
Unknown to them, people in the real world have been predicting this recession for years; in fact, Walmart knew about the downturn in October of last year.
